Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he was not surprised by the timing of the release of the police’s recommendations , he told a Likud Hanukkah party on Sunday.
“I was not surprised by the recommendations publicized today nor the fact that they were publicized today,” the prime minister said. “The fact that they were publicized today tells one thing: it was a predetermined game.”
Earlier in the day, police recommended he be indicted in Case 4000 for bribery and breach of trust. Netanyahu was also recommended for indictment in two other cases in February.
